Scope and Contents The Karl S. Kaltenthaler Collection is comprised of comic books, zines, magazines, graphic novels, and miscellaneous materials. Comic books make up the bulk of the collection with approximately 1,500 items, spanning many genres and styles including superhero comics, war comics, horror comics, and alternative and underground titles.
